I Was Gonna Write More…

December 31, 2007

I think I wanna write. I’m not a philosopher, I didn’t take any philosophy classes (does Philosophy Of Film count?), but I wanna write.

Actually, it does, because it got me thinking about 2001: A Space Odyssey. And why we shouldn’t rely on technology.

Look for something “big” tomorrow night (or, technically, tonight).

If ya find it, for a $1, get it!

This Just In

December 23, 2007

In Video Format.

This is the single person version – two people would be arguing, debating, and laughing.

I don’t like using iMovie or Google Video, but it works for this!

Does it remind you when?

Cannot Be Here

I won’t go into what it’s about, cause really the only person who reads this, if she still does, already knows.

Some of my best work, I think. Despite a few mess ups. I was *so* out of breath doing the recorder at the end!

Hopefully though, it will always remind me of then…

Some thoughts, some reactions

December 10, 2007

For the last time, I need to stop watching, and start doing.

What a great movie though. Drifters!

Rules To Live By(for now)

All this “energy”
– desire to Write
– angst
– desire to move
– computer “usage”
This takes up your evenings!
Look for “good” Elmira job. Even if temp! Must be FT, though. Get something, somewhere
THEN look into WEMT – Be “pushy” w/them.

I love my weird notes I write myself at work.

5 Cool Videos

December 2, 2007

After watching an unofficial video of a song I dig, I decided and wondered “What are five music videos I really really like? What are five music videos that made me wanna make videos?”

#5: Weezer – Buddy Holly
Let’s face it. Best editing in a video. Ever. Ever!

#4: The Mars Volta – The Widow
I don’t understand it. I don’t think you’re supposed to. But, the closest thing to a David Lynch movie in music video fashion.

#3: Sigur Ros – Saeglopur
When I first saw it, I thought it was the most beautiful way to die. I still think he dies in the end, and still think it’s beautifully fantastic (fantasy-like, not superb).

#2 The Beatles – Strawberry Fields Forever
I remember seeing this as a kid on some Beatles special. Nowadays, I think it explains a lot about me.

#1: Dashboard Confessional – Screaming Infidelities
I really hate that this is #1. But when it came out I was in need of emo music, and well, it tells a story with some beautiful symbolism.

I dunno if I’ll follow this up with anything.

Happy December!
