A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody

Who cares if it’s the dumbest in the world?
*sigh*
Magnetic Fields fan, or worrier? Though, perhaps it’s just a work facade…

But at the same time, I don’t
Le sigh.
Just turn the music up/and keep your mouth shut.

So, this is life. The ups and downs of it. How fitting, it’s around Valentine’s Day. The most meaningful time to lose a lover. Or, so it seems.
But I thought she said Maple Leaves
I love that version, btw.
Kingston Trio

Very rarely do I give up on dreams. I mean, I’m as confused as most post-college kids. Do I follow through with my major? Do I try something new? Do I do what will give me money?
Well, that record above, and the recent compilations of theirs I bought, has made me rethink my future.
I wanna make movies, and I love directing. But I also love staying in and fiddling with my ukulele, coming up with short, simple tunes. And, I’ve been wondering if I should go see my city friend, who plays guitar, and we could be the neo-Kingston Trio. Or, as I imagined, the “Downstate Duo”.
I dunno if we’d sing in harmony or not. Or, perhaps what I really mean, I dunno if I’d sing in tune or not…
So THAT’s why my hit count went lower

According to this, the world had some how ended on September 10th. Someone’s home made seismic earth detector had ceased to give readings around 8am (something like 2am on the US East Coast). Several other scientists had noticed it as well. So, evidently, we’re are already gone.
This was about 3 hours before the Large Hadron Collider test was scheduled, and supposedly happened. So, the theory currently stands at the earth was destroyed so the scientists wouldn’t destroy it first on October 21st of this year.
I went back to the How To Destroy The Earth site, and eventually found that information, just to see if there was any doubt from the site’s creator if microscopic black holes could destroy the earth. Cause, you know, his information is more reliable than actual scientists.
No wonder there isn’t anything good on TV these days…

It’s no Microphones song, nor is it an instrumental a la Air. It just…is.
I don’t know too many folk artists who include instrumentals. Heh.
At this rate, to reach 35 minutes (even), I’d have to make every remaining song on All I Perceive to be 3:21. I’ve done it, and more so, but rarely. At 2:45 per song it’d be like 30 minutes…

You’re like a beautiful machine
They way you are in this world
Undisturbed by what you see
Crap. I made a link. I thought that song was for that that someone…
I think too much.
Aren’t I supposed to be creating, instead of “memoiring”?
Girls Don’t Stare…Do They?

Girl/I don’t make small talk/Cause this world is/pulling us apart
Oh/Just one second long/I am not that quick/Or that strong
Girl/I apologize/If you wanted wit/And not shy
Oh/Just one second more/I will think of something/Unlike before
Listen for that in an upcoming song. Maybe.
Happy Sinko Duh Mio!
Oh No, Not Again

I want this out not in me
If I put this much thought into it, there must be something there.
As I left today, I couldn’t help but feel the same…

Scott Spillane/Neutral Milk Hotel’s “The Fool” is an amazing instrumental piece. To me, it shows change, from the Two-Headed Boy that precedes it. It is an attempt to grow up. It is an attempt to mature. It is depressing, it is beautiful.
I just ruined it.
